Neurotronics Sensors

Instructions for Use, Rev. 19091801

 

To clean belt, wash by hand in warm water with a mild detergent, and air dry.

 

To clean sensor, wipe the plastic enclosure and wire set with either:

  • 70% isopropyl alcohol

  • Bleach solution containing 0.6% Sodium Hypochlorite

 

Do not immerse the sensor in cleaning solution or allow liquid to get into any openings. Immersing the sensor will damage the device and void the product warranty.  Ensure the belt and sensor are thoroughly dry before use.

Nomad PMU800

Cleaning should be performed between patients and only be performed by the healthcare provider.

 

Inspect the Nomad for damage before cleaning.

 

The external enclosure surfaces of the Nomad system and accessories may be cleaned with a soft cloth and mild detergent.

 

To disinfect the outside surface of the unit, wipe it with a non-abrasive cloth with either an Ammonium Hydroxide, or Sodium Hypochlorite (maximum 8.25%) based consumer grade disinfectant. Use disinfectants according to manufacturer's instructions. After cleaning with disinfectant, wipe with damp soft cloth to remove chemical residues.

 

Allow the device to air dry or dry with a soft cloth.

 

Nomad connectors may be dusted with a clean cloth or compressed air but should not come into contact with any Liquid.

 

Inspect the Nomad for moisture or damage, and test operation after cleaning and before patient use.

 

Opening the enclosure of the device voids any warranties associated with the device.
